The opportunity to play in the multi-million dollar Main Event is being given to anyone who joins as a premium member or renews their membership for the million strong PPA. All the names will go into a ‘hat’ with one lucky winner getting the $10,000 for a seat at the competition; however, do bear in mind that you’ll have to meet your own travel and accommodation costs for Sin City. Anyone who’s not already a premium member can upgrade for just $20, which considering the opportunity it could bring you – is surely worth dipping into your pocket for.

Last year’s winner, Peter Eastgate, took home a very tidy $9.1 million – which I think you’d have to agree would be a rather nice buffer against the credit crunch. Being up against some of the best professionals in the world; and keeping your expectations reasonable, although you might not win, there’s no reason in the world to think that you’d lose either; as there’d be plenty of opportunity for you to scoop some decent jackpots at least in the early stages.
