However, even that payout was just eclipsed when Jake Toole edged out Full Tilts own poker pro Brian Hastings, to win $453,687 in the $535 buy-in Final Table Event 22. By comparison PokerStars Sunday 500, $500+30 buy-in with only 1182 players yielded a first prize of just over $100,000 and the Ultimate Bet’s $200K GTD winner, $200+15 buy-in with less than 1000 entrants, pulled $50,000 in winnings. Interestingly neither PokerStars nor UltimateBet had anywhere near the numbers of poker playing entrants that Full Tilt had, so it would seem if you really want to chase the big money you need to be prepared to battle your way through the bigger fields.
